hi! i’m writing this post because i know that someone among my followers will see this (and hopefully, have the means to help!). this is regarding a friend of mine from senior high that is looking for financial donations through her gofundme. she is a scholar in a philippine university, but does not have the means to fund her daily expenses. you can read her full story (with pictures & proof) by clicking this link.

a hop, skip, and a train ride later, i managed a visit to my future alma mater. (yes, i’m comfortable enough with posting my face on here, hello to you!) the campus is sprawling with european architecture. additionally, it’s the oldest in asia. my father and grandfather had studied here, and now i’m doing the same. looking forward to the august schoolyear!

hi! if you are reading this, you probably know me from my follower giveaways, or from just giving me a follow. my name’sjeia, and i haven’t been on here in 6 months. it’s time to get real real.
as most studyblrs are, acads are life. with regards to mine, i am proud to say that after focusing on my studies, i obtained a pretty good average (94, an A) and graduated high school with honors.
i also passed 3 out of the 4 college entrance examinations that i have taken. in the philippines, we have “the big 4″ universities namely: ateneo de manila university (ADMU), de la salle university (DLSU), university of santo tomas (UST), and university of the philippines (UP). i didn’t qualify for UP.
of the 4, i have chosen UST as my home for the next 4 years in my college life. i have also applied for a scholarship at the university which will require me to render student assistance services, with 100% defrayal from paying the tuition fee per semester. i am praying that i will be able to obtain this scholarship so that i can pursue tertiary education without worry.
i am currently on my 5-month summer break because UST starts its school year in august. i am thankful for all of the experiences that high school has brought me, and i am striving to chill and prepare to enter collegiate life.
i missed you, studyblr. we’ll be seeing each other lots more, i swear it. there’ll be train car posts, building posts, bujo posts, and the likes. it’ll get a lot more personal and vulnerable and wild. wuv u.

espectáculo: a fashion show soirée was muy espectacular. there are so many people i would love to thank, but i would be rattling off for hours. directing a show is no easy feat, but i pulled it off with lots of help. (if you cannot already tell, i’m the girl wearing that electric blue gown!)
i’m back! it’s been a long time, but it was sooo worth it. a 91.98 (A) general average, a spot on the honor roll, and being at the top of my classes make up for all of my lost time on here. (also, mooncakes all around!)

i actually hit 200 < 3 days ago (and ya’ll are 290+ now! super grateful!) but better late than never! this time around, we have a minimalistic class schedule which includes spaces for time, class, room number, building, professor, office hours and notes! these schedules come in two (2) styles: dot grid paper (in the table!) & plain paper.

Best places to visit in your town or country? when you come to the philippines, you should see what is dubbed as the “eighth natural wonder”: the banaue rice terraces. if that’s not your style, we have plenty of beaches down south (la union, boracay) and the underground river in palawan is also a tourist favorite! (nakanang @ DOT kunin niyo na ako bilang promoter ng tourism HAHA) [english: @ department of tourism, you can now get me as a tourism promoter HAHA]

18. How often do you read? i read when my sister buys herself a new book/is gifted a new book, along with collecting e-books and of course, school readings!
19. Favourite study locations? i don’t have my own room, so i usually end up studying on the table outside on the rooftop of my home. while at school however, manila’s best coffee, starbucks and johann’s make for decent locations (with johann’s having wifi, thank heavens)
